π How to build Emrakul, the World Anew
Emrakul, the World Anew is a colorless 12-mana Eldrazi with flying and protection from spells and from permanents that were cast this turn, so fresh spells and newly cast permanents can't target or affect it. When you cast it, you gain control of all creatures target player controls, which can swing a board in a single turn. The tradeoff is that when Emrakul leaves the battlefield, you sacrifice every creature you control, so the stolen creatures are only yours until Emrakul goes.
Build around its colorless identity and its high cost. Ramp and mana sources that produce colorless mana help get it onto the battlefield, and madness enablers help you cast it for six colorless mana when it is discarded. The sacrifice theme is a natural fit, since sacrifice outlets and creatures that benefit from dying let you turn the forced sacrifice into value.
Watch the twelve-mana cost, which is a long wait in most games. Its sacrifice trigger means the creatures you take can be lost in a single moment, so plan for that before you rely on the steal. Protection does not stop permanents already on the battlefield, and the board you gain can disappear the moment Emrakul is removed.
